Renewal Readiness Program

Make sure the policy you pay for will actually respond.

Cyber insurance renewals now come with a detailed security questionnaire. Most owners answer it themselves, or hand it to their IT provider, without knowing whether the answers would hold up after a claim.

Why the answers matter more than ever

Insurers verify what applicants claim. In a widely reported 2022 case, a manufacturer stated on its application that it used multi-factor authentication for administrative access. After a ransomware attack, the insurer found that protection covered only the firewall, and the court rescinded the $1 million policy, treating it as though it had never existed. The application had been signed by the company’s own head of network security.

That was not fraud. It was a box checked by someone who did not fully understand what the question was asking. Our job is to make sure that never describes you.

The 90 days before your renewal

90 DAYS OUT

Readiness review

We walk your environment against the questions carriers actually ask: multi-factor authentication, backups, privileged access, email security, endpoint protection, and incident response.

60 DAYS OUT

Close the gaps

We prioritize what would cause a decline, a surcharge, or a coverage restriction, and work with your IT provider to fix those first.

45 DAYS OUT

Answer with evidence

We complete the questionnaire with you and document the proof behind every answer, so each one is supportable if it is ever questioned.

30 DAYS OUT

Support the submission

Your broker submits with a written control narrative that explains your security posture in the terms an underwriter is looking for.

What you get

  • A completed questionnaire with documented evidence behind every answer
  • A prioritized remediation plan for the gaps that affect pricing and coverage
  • A written control narrative your broker can submit to underwriters
  • An evidence file you can reuse for customer security reviews
  • A plain-English summary for you, your board, or your leadership team

For insurance brokers

When a client cannot answer the security questions, you are the one who has to deliver bad news at renewal. We work alongside you, never around you. We do not sell insurance, we do not advise on coverage, limits, or carriers, and we never take your client relationship.

You bring us in 90 days out. Your client submits a stronger application, and you keep the account.

Talk about a partnership

When does your policy renew?

The best time to start is 90 days out. If your renewal is closer than that, we can still help you answer accurately and flag anything that needs attention before you sign.
